Supplier Diversity

We actively seek to bring small businesses, including minority- and women-owned companies, into our network of suppliers. We currently partner with more than 1,800 diverse suppliers.

Learning from students. Leading by example.

“Sodexo is committed to providing small businesses, including minority- and women-owned companies, with opportunities to grow and develop, and we actively seek to bring these vendors into our network of suppliers. Expanding our supplier base is good for the vendors, good for local economies, and good for our customers. Products and services from a diverse supplier base provide us with the finest products for our menus, high quality goods, and great service, making our offerings to our customers stronger and more competitive. In turn, our vendors benefit from wider exposure and our best practices - a win-win for both companies.”

    George Chavel, President & CEO
    Sodexo Inc.

Sodexo is committed to supporting diverse growth and development in the communities we serve. To achieve this, our supplier diversity initiative is headed by a full-time Director of Supplier Diversity who is focused solely on pursuing these opportunities.

Every year, Sodexo continues to increase the number of small and minority- and women-owned business enterprises that provide us with products and services that meet our high standards of quality, competitive pricing, and service. We currently partner with more than 1,800 diverse suppliers.
